The many inspiring tablescapers had me looking around the house to see what else I could add to my table. I remembered my little girl who oversees one of my guestrooms:
(Can you see where I singed some of the petals when I lit the votives??! Yikes!)
Dinner plates & bowls: Dansk
Salad plates: Sur La Table
Water goblets: Tuesday Morning
Vase (actually a milkshake glass): Tuesday Morning
Wine glasses: Macy's
Flatware: Pottery Barn
Votive candles: Pier One
Napkins: Amazon.com
My girl & the tablecloth: Have had both for several years
Thank you, Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch for sponsoring another fun Tablescape Thursday!! Please be sure to check out Susan's tablescape and the tablescapes of all the other talented and creative participants!
Beautiful soft pink! Love the flower in the bowl.
ReplyDeleteYour gerberas and the girl:) Just so lovely!!Even singed:) You made me smile!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fresh looking table! Love the pinks with the white! Happy TT, and Happy Halloween : ) Sherri@lavenderfields
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the tablescape, such a nice change to the current autumn colors. The flowers just dance off the photos! Thank you for sharing...

Gerbera Daisies always make me smile. That is a wonderful color. Love your sweet table scape!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! My youngest daughter loves Gerber Daisies...which has rubbed off on me after 21 years. Lovely soft colors.
ReplyDeleteThe colors, the simplicity, so otherworldly looking. almost a ghostly feel...why I think it's Ghost Whisperer chic. Good job!
ReplyDeleteLori, what a beautifully serene looking tablescape! Your flowers are luscious in their color & size & I love what you did with one in the bowl, all alone. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely setting in which to relax & enjoy some of your delicious food. I ♥ both!
fondly,
Rettabug
That flower color is inspiring - so pretty, and I love the addition of your little girl. This is such a beautifully soothing tablescape. (Amazing, considering you were under a tornado warning!) laurie
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and striking with the wonderful gerber daisy, love all the white with the pink..
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind comments!
ReplyDeletePhyllis, actually the dinner plates and the bowls are kind of a celadon color. I should have tried to show their color a little better in the photos. It's so difficult (for me) to photograph well with indoor lighting!! :-/
I love how you play with dishes! Gorgeous...and those salmon colored Gerbera Daisies are spectacular! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd you did this while waiting for a tornado to rip your roof off? Don't you miss the relative calm weather of the Hudson Valley? Snow doesn't take your house up in a big funnel and plop you down in Oz.
Or as my daughter Anne said when little, "Dorothy's house went up in a tomato storm."
Anyway, i got sidetracked -- but that's grace under pressure -- a gorgeous serene table. during a tornado watch. You rock.

Lori, I really appreciate the soft color palette you've gathered for your table~ it's such a nice change from the usual autumn colors.
ReplyDeleteThose Gerberas are gorgeous, I would love a soft throw (or nightie...:)) in that color ~ so beautiful!
Your sweet girl is precious, love your cutlery and china. It's such a lovely table setting. Very nicely done!! xo
What a lovely serene tablescape! Those flowers are very beautiful!

This is a beautiful tablescape. I love anything pink and since we are in the middle of Spring here in Australia your table is perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteI could look at your beautiful pictures all day...
Best wishes, NM.
Hi Lori! I hope the tornado never came. Your table is so pretty, love the colors and love the daisies too!...Christine
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely setting! love the colour of the flowers...beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know that I would be very calm in a tornado watch. Glad you are ok. Your table is stunning. I love the way the dishes and the tablecloth match each other and that allows the flowers and the precious little girl to take center stage. Just a beautiful color combination. Thanks also for stopping by and leaving such kind comments on my blog. I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteA beautiful table setting, Lori. The soft color of the Gerberas is perfect with white. What a pleasure it would be to sit at your lovely table.
ReplyDeleteThis so made me smile. The pink gerberas just set the table off. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteLori, beautiful table setting. From the flowers to your Little Girl.
ReplyDeleteAnn
What a delightful tablesetting...the colors are gentle, with just a pop with the lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely mood this creates! As you said, it's quite a contrast to the storm brewing outside. Your humor (about the scortched petals, etc.) is delightful. So glad I stopped by today!
ReplyDeleteHope our paths cross again soon. ;)
